The iMSGlobal business has experienced significant growth in the last few years connecting with global FMCG clients. As a consequence it was important for iMSGlobal to have quality accreditation in recognition of its improved process management and control systems.
iMSGlobal has embarked on a journey with Bureau Veritas to enable all of the global operations to achieve an ISO 9001:2008 accreditation. The journey has commenced in ANZ and will roll out to all of the production hubs over the next period of time.
As part of the ISO 9001:2008 process for corrective and preventative action as well as continual improvement, iMS ANZ started mining the quality data banks in May 2016 by use of quality tasking in the MIS, Llumi. Improvement targets were established and with each passing month of monitoring and making incremental improvements iMS ANZ is finding itself growing closer to the targets every month.
After months of hard work, creating procedures and aligning processes and records, IMS ANZ was set up with their online Quality Management System website in June, which was then rolled out to all Centres of Excellence for global access in July. The Quality Management System contains all data relating to ISO 9001:2008 including the company policy, manual, procedures, quality targets, work method statements and forms.
iMSGlobal Head Office in ANZ was the first to have their audit completed by the certification body Bureau Veritas, and much to everyone’s excitement was granted official certification on the end of October 2016.
iMSGlobal is now working hard to get the rest of their global Centres of Excellence certified by mid-2017.
